Birthday Invitation Maker

Drop in up to 20 transparent PNGs. They get packed into one overlapping group at the top of a portrait card.

Print at 300 dpi. The wording sits inside a safe margin, so trimming won't cut into it.

Make a birthday invitation in three steps

  1. Add your characters. Drop in up to 20 transparent PNGs. The first one is the hero — biggest, front row, dead centre — and the rest are packed around it.
  2. Pick an arrangement and colours. Packed, triangle, ring or arch, six colour themes, and an auto-fit pass that sizes everything so no character disappears behind another.
  3. Type the wording and download. Name, age, date, time, venue and RSVP sit inside a safe print margin, so a trimmed card never cuts into the text.

What you get

  • Portrait sizes: 5 × 7 in, A5, A6, 4 × 6 in and 5 × 5 in square.
  • 150 or 300 dpi, exported as PNG or JPG — 5 × 7 at 300 dpi is 1500 × 2100 px.
  • Print at home, at a print shop, or send the file straight to a group chat.
  • Nothing is uploaded. The card is drawn in your browser and your artwork never leaves your computer.

Questions people ask

Is the invitation maker free?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no export limit. You only pay if you buy a clipart pack to use on the card.

Which image files can I use?

Transparent PNG works best, because the cut-out edge is what lets characters overlap cleanly. WebP and JPEG also load, but a JPEG has no transparency, so it will sit on the card as a rectangle.

What size is the finished invitation?

All sizes are portrait. The default is 5 × 7 in at 300 dpi, which exports at 1500 × 2100 px. A5, A6, 4 × 6 in and a 5 × 5 in square are in the size menu, and you can drop to 150 dpi for a smaller file.

Will it print without cutting off the wording?

The text block is laid out inside a safe margin, so normal trimming at a print shop will not reach it. Export at 300 dpi for anything you intend to print.

Do my images get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is rendered locally in your browser with canvas. The share link carries your layout settings and wording so you can pick the card back up later, but it does not carry your artwork.
